Buildings 2021
After a one-year break the annual Buildings conference will take place again. The organisers are Isobel Davies, Anna Michael, Yuri Santos Rego and Petra Schwer - we are looking forward to seeing you all.
We hope the conference will be able to take place in person, with a hybrid format allowing participants to join online if they wish. However, it may be that the conference takes place entirely online, depending on the rules surrounding the coronavirus pandemic at the beginning of October.
The conference will take place from
October 6th to 8th 2021 in Magdeburg.
The Buildings conference is a conference series in its 27th year with a focus on the geometry of spaces of non-positive curvature and in particular the geometry of and group actions on buildings. The conference aims in particular at young researchers in the area and fosters collaboration between researchers in closely related fields.
The program will start on Wednesday afternoon Oct. 6th around 2.30 pm and we plan to be finished by 4 pm on Friday Oct. 8th.
Talks will be 30 and 50 min and by contribution only. We are also planning to have a poster session. Please indicate upon registration whether you would like to present a poster or give a talk and provide title and abstract.
