The long-standing annual colloquium provides research groups from universities across northern Germany with an opportunity to present their latest results and findings in the fields of applied analysis and numerical mathematics. With a long tradition of knowledge exchange and intellectual dialogue, the colloquium serves as a platform for discussing current research interests and exploring potential collaborations.

In 2026, the colloquium will take place from 22 to 23 October at the Otto von Guericke Centre (Lukasklause) in Magdeburg. The program will feature a wide range of talks covering various topics and reflecting the diversity and breadth of research in these fields. From fundamental concepts to advanced applications, the presentations will offer insights into different aspects of applied mathematics and numerical analysis.
