Required documents
Submitting the doctoral thesis
Please contact Mrs Stein (buero-dekanat-fma@ovgu.de) and submit a written application to the Dean to open the doctoral procedure.
The application must be accompanied by:
- 5 hardcopies of the dissertation with abstracts in German and English and an electronic version of the dissertation
- Curriculum vitae in tabular form
- List of publications and other academic achievements
- Proof of fulfilment of the requirements according to § 3 of the doctoral regulations (see below) by submitting the relevant certificates and documents
- Declaration of honour that you have written the dissertation independently, have not already used it as a dissertation, diploma thesis or similar examination paper and that any aids used are listed in full
- Details regarding the supervisor of the thesis
- Written declaration concerning any previous applications for a doctorate
- Written declaration that you acknowledge the doctoral regulations
- Written declaration that you have not been convicted of a criminal offence relating to science (in accordance with appendix 7)
